MEET THE TEAM

  • With a strong background in community engagement, Tori Thomas is a connector of people with a passion for community. Thomas began her career in the service industry, which cultivated her love of people and eventually led her into the nonprofit sector. At Family Advocates, a local nonprofit dedicated to strengthening families and keeping kids safe, she developed and refined her skills in donor relationship cultivation and event management.

  • Adrean works in government affairs for an insurance company, working to develop policy with state lawmakers in Idaho. She has a background working with and for nonprofits for years and is a certified Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Instructor, providing training for teams to recognize signs of suicidal ideation and how to provide support.

  • Erin Hudson has a background in strategic communications, public relations, and digital marketing. Her experience is essential in helping IBHA with its messaging, outreach strategy, and developing materials for the organization. Previously, she served for five years on the board of The Speedy Foundation, and has a passion for expanding access to services and removing the stigma of needing help for mental health or illnesses.

  • Liz Caval-Williams is a passionate business leader and advocate for mental health in Idaho. Raised in Twin Falls, Idaho, Liz graduated from Seattle University in 2009, and began her career as a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist for a community mental health agency in Boise. She quickly returned back to school to acquire her Masters in Social Work from Boise State University in 2013. She became independently licensed in 2015 while working as clinician supporting youth and families in Nampa, and moved into leadership as a Director of Behavioral Health Services. Since then, she’s provided business management and leadership support within for-profit and non-profit organizations with a focus on mental health and disabilities, specializing in new business development and advocacy at the city, state and federal level. Liz serves on the Medical Care Advisory Committee, which advises the Division of Medicaid on policy changes and manages quality strategy efforts of all Medicaid related activities.

  • Sarah is a licensed counselor helping to reduce recidivism rates and provide treatment services for Idahoans suffering from addiction. Her background in social work and addiction prevention is incredibly valuable to IBHA and the board.

  • Janice has an extensive background in behavioral health, bringing over 20 years of experience. She has a passion for improving the quality of life for those needing behavioral health services and ensuring those services are accessible.
